Hi, I Drive a 1997 Volvo V40 1.8, the following dials have all just died whilst driving:
Speedometer, Rev Counter, Temp Gauge and Fuel Gauge,

all interior electrics still work, Back Lighting for dashboard, interior lights and stereo
The car still starts and drives can I ask what has caused the lost of the instruments

I have this exact same problem, but it is intermittent. Sometimes while I am driving I will lose my instruments, but later they'll pop back on again. For the past several weeks there hasn't been a problem, but I'd still be interested to know what's going on if anyone else knows.

Could it be a loose fuse or something?
