Greg

I want to see if it has ISO connections on the reverse on the headunit as i wish to fit a Parrot Bluetooth handsfree kit.
I have the upgraded stereo headunit from volvo with the 8 speaker set up. Also have the ipod connection but just need the lead.

What you thinking matey

Cheers Andy

I don't want to remove it i just want to know if i can fit a parrot bluetooth handsfree kit which uses the iso connections or to pick up a audioleads adaptor kit to connect it in.

I have read some where that the connetion on the reverse is a fibre optic cable. so thats why i would like to know how it comes out to check or if someone has explored this avenue what did they find??

hi!

the volvo-car-radio has no iso-connectors. you need an adapter-cable (like: iso2car from http://www.kram.dk/ ).

how to remove the radio is described here: http://vccs.volvocars.se/accessories/ii/default.aspx/

If you have a factory fit amp in the back of the car the amp is where you would want to fit your parrot mute box connectors. As said earlier there is no iso connector in the back of the unit itself, if there is no amp in your car then you will need a adapter for the back of the head unit IAM.
