greetings-

new to this forum but long term volvo owner. I have owned a 94 850 for the last 8 years and have been very happy with it. My previous car was a 78 Jeep CJ5 so the 850 turbo is like going from the flintstones car to the space shuttle.

I travel a lot overseas for week for 6 weeks at a shot so my car has been sitting most of the last two years. Several weeks ago upon a return something blew/melted in the AC system. Now all I get are the blinking lights in AC and Rec.

The dealer told me that the problem is in the Master AC control but I want to get input on whether this is likely the problem or something else. I would like to pick up the spares myself on ebay or something but want to make sure I am getting what I will need to fix the AC myself.

Other than that, the car runs great!

It's possibly low in freon.
