Does anybody think its a good idea to put the carbon fiber lip on a titanium gray 2007 S40?

If so where can i find that for a good price?

Personnaly I would leave it the way it is.
Ofcourse I may not be a good judge as I don't care for most adds-on.
They may give a more sportsy look but in almost every case it deteriorates the nice refinement of car design. Just my take on the issue ofcourse.
More so I really like how volvo finished the back end of the S40, really clean and fluide. I like the sporsy feel more in the integrated components such as the light tripes.

Otherwise I'd be carefull with tapes. No tape really last overtime but they will affect the paint. If you go with this make sure it fits right before taping it.

Maybe someone else has a better opinion...

On the outside I would go for wheels, tires, suspension, and exhaust upgrade before any thing else I think.
Good luck

IMHO, I don't think that it would look right. I think that a lip spoiler like that would look awesome if it were painted the body color. I guess I'm just not a big fan of CF exterior parts.

CF parts are cool, you just have to do it right to make it look good...

I agree with gregoire. to answer electricsilverT5 and euro3b, CF looks good if, and only if (in my opinion) has a use. for a lip, i think is a waste of money for the buyer. a whole spoiler, maaaaaaaaaaaaybe. depends on the application. I have seen some on porsches that i thought looked fantastic, but they were also not a dark color. i have also seen them on Subies and i thought they were horrendous. they were so big I could hang my wet clothes on them to dry. same for chin spoiler and the like. no real weight savings there. just a look at me fashion statement. the whole thing boils down to if you like it, the hell with other people. good luck.

I prefer painted, unless there are numerous CF parts on the car where you are carrying through a theme.
