Hello all, I am new here and relatively new to Volvo ownership. I have two Porsches that have been with me for 8 years now.

I am wanting to put a new CD player (was looking at a Clarion DB175MP) in place of the factory unit. The tape deck does not work and thd CD changer has intermittent issues.

I was on the phone with Crutchfield and they do not offer a CD reciever that will fit or an installation kit that will mate up. I was wondering what I can do to make a normal DIN style CD reciever fit?

What CD recievers have you all gone with?

Thank you!!

Anyone ever use this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Volvo-780-850-940-960-...VQQcmdZViewItem

I ran across them while searching for a kit to fit a single DIN into a double DIN slot.

Thank you,
Charles

Your link doesn't work. Google double din radios and you will find some matches that will work. Most have installation kits available to retrofit.

If you wanted to put a single DIN radio into a double Din opening you would just use a DIN sized pocket with your radio. Metra makes an add on pocket that would suit your purpose.
