Has anyone had the retrofit (Volvo Hands Free with Bluetooth) installed into their S40?



Does the retrofit (Volvo Hands Free with Bluetooth) allow you to use the existing steering wheel control buttons and center key pad buttons? Or are you only able to dial phone numbers by pressing the big blue button and then using voice command?

Any experience from anyone with this system would be very appreciated.

I'm about to install this unit in the dealer. They explain:

- I can dial using voice commands
- you hear the audio on the front speakers in the car
- when a call is incoming, audio volume is automatically adjusted to a minimum signal
- you can increase volume of the call using the stering weel

everything you said is true except for the volume control. The volume control on the steering wheel/center console is strictly for music. The motorola i1000 controller has 2 arrows on the right side just for the phones volume

Mine works like DJ states. Volume is controlled by the up/down buttons on the unit. But once it is set you shouldn't need to adjust it really.
