Changing radio from HU613 to HU603

Changing radio from HU613 to HU603, Controls on steeringw. dont´t work

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 7 Joined: 28-February 05 Member No.: 3,439 Status: Location: Norway Drives: 2001 Volvo XC 70	Controls for the radio on the steeringw. don´t work after I have changed from a HU613 to a HU603. Are there any known problems here? Wiring problems?

You might have to have software downloaded for them to work.Those cars are very touchy you might never get the steering wheel controls back.The radio might not fully match the car.

[right][snapback]4185[/snapback][/right] Yes, I did swap the radios. When i swap back again everything work ok with the old HU613. My "new" HU603 has been in an another XC70 before.
