I had a similar problem.
there is no any workaround for this alarm reseting or diasabling.

Hi -- had that problem on my previous V50 (2006 model). There is a small sensor that was updated on the 2007 model, your dealer knows about it and will identify it for you.

Mine was setting off the alarm at 5:10 in the morning ... every morning ... not at 5am, not at 5:30 am, never by day, just at 5:10.

I now have a 2007 model of the same car, and all the "niggles" of the 2006 models have been addressed.

I agree with the sensor solution - my 2005 V50 did the same. It would pick its time (say, 11.50pm) and trigger at that time for a couple of days, then go quiet for a few weeks, then pick another time! Amazing, if it wasn't so annoying!

Anyway, a new sensor was fitted and, so far, no problems after 1 month. Gooood luck!
