If anyone has a copy of the Volvo trunk mounted 6 CD Changer I would really like to get a copy of it. If you have one let me know and I will get you an email address or physical address to send it to. It would really help me when I install it in my 850. Thanks.

Changer install is extremely easy. Adjust suspension screws on changer for mounting purposes(if changer has them). Fabricate brackets if included ones do not bolt to factory mounts. Run cable to back of factory radio. Not much to this particular install.
Changer adapter will be necessary if using a non-Volvo changer.

Thanks for the answer. Using a Volvo changer. Wire is already run from the radio. Only problem I can see is exactly where to mount the changer. That's why I was looking for an installation guide. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a plastic cavity that the factory changer would sit into? These pockets usually sit vertically, just drill a hole in the bottom for the cable to fish through, and pressure fit the changer into this pocket. CD changers can also be mounted horizontally under the rear deck(hanging). Could use some angle iron, like pipe strapping, but much stiffer. Bend these into 90's and use short self tapping screws to mount under rear deck.

Probably mount it under the rear deck. I guess I'll just have to move it around until I find a spot that will give me a good solid mounting surface but not interfere with the trunk light or the rear deck speakers.

I know this link is a couple of months old but I have an original cd mount for the glove box that I found in the trunk of the new old 850 R that I just bought, if you want it pm me and we will talk.
