MY VOLVO V70-98-I THOUGHT THE TRANS WAS SLIPPING,BUT FLUID IS GOOD-110K MILES SOMETIMES WHEN I PUT IT INTO REVERSE OR EVEN WHEN IM DRIVING IT WILL HESITATE-FEEL LIKE IT WANTS TO STALL,BUT THEN IS OK- STARTS TO ALMOST BUCK-IM DUMP FOUNDED-ANY HELP

I have the same exact car- it's new to us, and we love it. We have noticed the same symptoms, and my family mechanic (my father) says that it is most likely the fuel filter. Gas is not getting through consistently, and that is when we feel the pause. Another possibility is that the pistons need to be cleaned- you can put some cleaner in the gas for that. I'll repost when we have an official diagnosis!
