Volvo of Orange County is offering a great deal on ebay on a complete fog light kit (both fog lights with bulbs, relay, fuse, switch button & hardware BRAND NEW) for a heck of a deal! Less than what a single light costs. I ordered them & had them the next day! Just FYI, the only difference on a 99 is apparently the color of the switch button. If you don't want to do ebay, just call the guy & place your order on the phone (that's what I did). For those of you that are interested...

Thanks for the link. The prices are pretty good.

My fog lights are pitted I could do with new ones.

Hello,

I'm a new member, so please forgive me if the following question has been asked already.

How difficult is it to replace the S80 fog light assembly? I just noticed this morning that my passenger side fog lamp lens is cracked. They're both pitted anyway, so I'd like to replace them. However, if they cost anything like the headlight assemblies to replace, I may be waiting a bit to do both. Any assistance in their replacement would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe

Real easy. Each fog light is held by 3 nuts/screws. Just disconnect socket where lamp is, remove and replace.

Thanks. That's good to know. I've spent $680.00 twice now for the replacement of headlights.

Interesting, I was actually watching that particular auction, but managed to get a pair of used OEM volvo fog lamps for 52.10 instead, so cheap even I surprised myself. All I need now is to get them installed and get the dealer to update the software on the car then I'm good to go.
also need to get a front headlamp lens changed..

If you already have a foglight you can replace it yourself.

If the car did not previously have foglights you may want the kit as it includes fuses, switches and instructions that you may not find in a used set.

Well the cost difference I considered all those factors... $52 vs $130... my guess is that it would still be cheaper to go with the used and pay the dealer to install everything for me rather than buy the brand new kit. Im upgrading from no fog lamps so I guess I made the right decision.. afterall, my car is used so nothing wrong with putting a used part on it.
