It's getting close to time to change the cabin air filter in my S60. Only problem...where is it? Do I have to take the glove box out to get to it? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Remove the lower dash panel on the passenger side of the car. Then look under the heater box assy. up lose to the firewall. You will see a black cover that screws from the bottom towards the top.The screws are t-25 screws. You can remove the two screws towards the rear of the cover and push the cover down.If you have the thin filter you can slide it out.If you have the bigger one you will have to remove the cover all the way. Then remove the filter.

Tech,
I'm also looking to change the CAF -- is the lower dash panel you referred to the panel with the light that has 2 screws and is in line with glove box (right in front of the passenger seat)? Thanks.

FINALLY got around to changing the CAF -- thanks for the directions! It may be my imagination, but the air seems fresher.
