I am 17 and I got my car when I was 16 and i have been driving it for a while. Last week the acceleration pedal got stuck on me and it wouldnt release and finally I shut it off and I replaced a part. After i changed the part the Pedal is SO much lighter, so a heads up for anyone that is having a heavy pedal on their 850, let me know.

When I drive the tracs off light is on, it turns off everyonce in a while..but why does it turn on..i dont even touch the button, it just goes on and off by itself.

Also, You know..teenagers like to compete to have the nicest cars when going to school and stuff, and kids such as my self that arent rich and dont have the money to get the nicest car. I need help and ideas to make my 1997 Volvo 850 to look nicer. Its silver, I was thinking of Silver tints.

Anyone have any ideas??

Also, when i bought the car...there werent any rear speakers in it...so if anyone knows where to get them cheap just let me know..thx

At least you're honest.
:D

Take a look at the garage and see if there is anything you like.

Sorry to rain on your parade but save your money for real problems with your car and do not waste on fixing it up to show it off. I am 51 and learned that when you fix up a car you only impress guys not the gals.

As far as low cost parts go try the local auto dismantlers I use them for non-safety parts and parts that do not wear out. For new parts I use http://www.fcpgroton.com/volvo.htm

Good luck and drive safe.

17 eh, I'm sure the money will go to making the car look nice, in hopes of getting laid. It doesn't work.
