Having owned my T5 for a week I've started tuning already, I've just bought the BSR stage 2 upgrade from Elkparts. Service was 1st class with e mails being answered after 8pm and as early as 7pm, I don't think John sleeps!

Can't wait to fit the JR air filter and BSR upgrade, 250bhp is stunning in this car and 300bhp is going to be a handful, biggest issue is going to be putting the power down in a FWD car.

This is the best car I've ever had, a real sleeper no one knows what they are. had a kid in a maxed up Saxo crawl up my rear end and I just flexed my right foot, he was history with a " what the f*** was that " look on his face, priceless.

It's not just the power either it's so comfortable and well equipped, best stereo on any car ever. Doldy Pro Logic with 13 speakers, my ears hurt before it distorts. And the icing on the cake - it handles, my other car is a 3 litre BMW so I know what I'm talking about. This car is arguably quicker and certainly more vocal about it, nicer to drive too.

Any other S60 owners had the BSR PPC fitted and what are your experiences.

You'll get no arguments here about the quality of the S60. But you're right about the FWD problem. Get ready for some massive torque steer. This is something you can't get away from, and is common to all FWD cars. What is NOT common to all FWD cars is 300bhp.

I just drive a stock 2.4t myself, and am not looking for any performance upgrades, but I would recommend that you give the suspension some attention next. In my experience both on the road and in these forums, upgrading the swaybars and endlinks w/ IPD parts is going to yield a great bang for the buck.

Enjoy your Volvo!

Just ran a search for sway bars & endlinks, also checked the Elkparts site and can't find anything.

Would welocome any advice on what I should be looking for and where to find it. Sorry I'm sure this is obvious, just assume I am thick and add a bit!

Also what about the brakes - they seem really good should I upgrade too?

Thanks for bearing with the newbie.

Before you read further I'd like you to consider your current credit card balances and such :)

I'm a pretty big newbie myself, and that site is like putting a kid in a candy store. Be careful. You could visit that site and end up setting your retirement back 5 years ;)

No personal experience, but here...

Didn't see any swaybars, but try this too...

As for the brakes, I LOVE these on mine (rotors, pads, and steel braided brake lines)...
