I have bought a old 98' volvo s40 td. Needed a diesel for miles I do and my last car, golf mk3 gti drank way too much petrol. I am only a poor student at university after all. It is a nice car but just is too heavy for the 90bhp engine. Does anyone know where I can get the power out of the engine. I have been thinking a induction kit and exhaust system but the power would only make too much noise.Induction kits are not suited to turbo intercooled diesels I am told? I like the refined quiet ride. Any help?? Maybe cpu reprogramming?? Anyone able to help.
