Hi,
I'm a newbie here and hope that someone can help me.

My 97 V90 Wagon is having a leaking problem when it rains. The right side rear passenger foot well is filling with water. There is NO visible leak around the door or at the sunroof for that matter....

I was not driving it during the rain storm, the car was merely sitting on the driveway, so I'm certain that the water is not coming up through a hole in the floor.

I noticed some water in this area the other day and just assumed that on e of the kids had spilled a water bottle.

Any suggestions????

I think it is comming from two spots. Either through the front bottom widsheild or it is comming from the side of the car between the front side panel and the door.. Check under the dash and see if there is any water leaking from that area. You should be able to see sone water dripping from these area. Just check around the door are to make sure that all the seal are tight. The is going to sound strange but use you garden hose and spray it in certain areas and see where ii is comming from. I hope this helps a little bit.

The water is showing up in the REAR right passenger footwell...
It seems to me that were it a faulty windshield seal, the water would, as you suggest be evident in the Front and under the dash...but there is none there.

Anyone else have any ideas or experience with this problem??
