Drives: Volvo S40 2005 T5
When I bought my s40t5 I did not take the premium sound system with integrated navigation system. Now I whish I had. I just drove a Peugeot 407 coupe when traveling in France. This rental was great and provided a GPS system. Now I'm really exited :460: to get one here in the states.

Does anyone has experience with GPS and know what’s best?
Is a difference in the level of map details between portable devices and the one using CD or DVD data?

You know, I was thinking of the same exact thing but with an S60. I was looking at crutchfield and they have some recommendations based on your model and year. Try giving it a shot and hope that helps.
