K&N has not officially came out with an intake for the 2007 models yet, but I keep hearing that it is safe to put the 2006 intake kit in b/c nothing has changed in the engine between the 06 and 07. I really want to get an intake for my car, but I want to make sure it will fit first. Has anyone installed the 2006 K&N Typhoon Air Intake Kit in their 2007 s40? Thanks for anyone who can help.

according to another forum, some companies offer a 05-07 version of a similar design, which suggests that it will fit. According to this site, the typhoon is good for 05-07

ya man i put it on it was a **** i had to take off the whole intake compartment thing and it took like two hours. but it comes with picture instuctions. well worth it though intakes adds horses and sounds awesome

a custom intake works just as good as the K&N
