Hi

I need some body work repairs on my "skirted" S60 T5 - recently lost a rear bumper due to some clown rear ending me.....and have some scrapes and scratches to fix

If I go to federal auto it will kill me to pay the charges there - also as the car is now out of warranty I would like to take it to a Volvo specialist but not one of th emain dealers for servicing

Does anyone have any advice or contacts who can help?

Thanks in advance

Thanks Auckland, but i am far from being an expert.
:)

Kieran, for body works, i (and many of the VOCM regulars) sent our rides to Anjung Auto. Talk to HASSAN (preferable).

To get there, head for the ZOO in Melawati. Assuming you're on the MRR2, heading towards the zoo, be on the lookout for the SECOND OVERHEAD Bridge after the UK Perdana flyover (with a mosque). There's a CELCOM Ad on the overhead bridge. There is a workshop on your left, but the paintworks shop is at the back. You can see the 'painting-oven' from the street, actually.

For minor scrapes and touch-ups, dont worry, the price is reasonable. At least it has been for us. Only problem is that sometimes, these good shops are victims of their own success. When they are too many cars to attend to, people complain of the time taken to complete a minor job. Hehehe. I think you know what i mean. Tell Hassan, Dzul or Anas sent you there.

Oh, BTW.
His number is 013-370 1610
And oh, he doesnt speak English.
:)
So, you know...

Addendum:-

Tell Hassan, that Dzul or Anas from the Volvo Club sent you there.

I think it's HIGH time you join VOCM (Volvo Owners' Club of Malaysia). Here at www.vocm.com.my

Ask the otais (old-timers) there...
