Hi,

I have a '99 C70 coupe 2.4L non turbo.

Took it for a spin this w/e and have stated to notice the engine seems to be missing when I accelerate.

It doesn;t happen every time but seems most pronounced when I try to accelerate in a high gear (this is nothing to do with being in too high a gear!)

The sparkplugs were changed relatively recently so I don't think its that.

Its starting to get a bit embarassing as I come away from traffic lights on kangaroo petrol!

I've heard that C70's have a known fault with their engine management systems and I am starting to wonder if it is that.

Has anyone else eexperienced a fault like mine if so what was the cause?

Had the same problem last month. Got so bad had to have it towed to Volvo shop. Just a loose vacuume hose. Check that first.

Had same problem. Small vacuum hose close to airfilter box pulled off.
