Hi

Recently I killed my volvo 440 glt on a rather slippy roundabout so had to buy a new car
I bought a 99 volvo s40 se and its very lovely.
The thing is I bought some parking sensors off ebay and will be commencing with the fitting of them saturday the 2nd.
Ive been trying to figure out where and how to fit them and have worked out the steel bumper is low enough for me to either squeeze them just under the grey trim bit (this part is easy to pop out) or on the grey trim itself.
actually gathering the wires and finding/making as hole to thread them through to link it to the reverse lights will be a t**t I know but never mind.

Before starting work I was wondering if any one knew or had pics of where and how they were fitted to another s40.
Ive crawled under teh car and it looks like the bumper is attatched with plastic pegs which on removal won't be able to be removed again. If I have to remove the bumper does anyone have a picture of a page from a manual on how to remove the bumper, I would be very greatfull.
Will be doing the work late afternoon so still time for replys, If not Ill take pic whilst I do it and post them so others can follow if they want. I'm not paying 400 fitted for a £20 set of sensors.

Thanks

Stu

Hi, how did you get on with the fitting, I have bought a set on ebay too and have yet to fit them. I would be very interested to hear how you got on.
