hi guys, i have a 1998 V70 XC AWD with everything stock 2.4L low pressure turbo and i am thinking about upgrading it with a T5 turbo or some other turbo of that sort. what should i look out for, i.e. what is the transmissoin rated at for torque and hp, would the chip have to be changed in any way. would i have to do anything else with anything other than that related to swapping the turbo alone? Any advice comments tips or questions are appreciated. Thanks

Have you thought about an ECU upgrade? It would prob be cheaper and might give more power than just throwing on a T5 turbo.

that would probably be easier to install as well. any suggestions about where to look?

Yeah just adding a bigger turbo isn't going to boost your power. You need an ECU upgrade to raise the boost to take advantage of the bigger turbo.

The IPD Stage III kit is good I have heard some bad reviews as well.
