I just received my 2007 S60 which has the built-in mini plug in the armrest compartment. I plugged my iPod (from the headphone jack of the iPod) into the AUX port and I get no audio from the right channel, just the left. Ultimately I want to get a cable that has the 3.5mm plug on one end and the dock connector on the other. Since this is probably the proper way to connect the iPod to the AUX connector, could this also be why I'm not getting any audio from the right channel using a standard 3.5mm-3.5mm plug?

The problem was with the cable itself as I tested it on another set of speakers and got the same result.
