I have a '94 940 and noticed this morning that the chime will not stop. Is there a fuse I can pull behind the ashtray to make it stop? Or is there a relay I can pull?

Hi, do excuse my ignorance, but can you explain what this `chime` normally would be for. I run a 95 940 est so know the model fairly well.

USA cars have a "chime" sounding when you're not wearing your seatbelt,in european cars you'll get a fast ticking sound,coming from the turnsignal relay.
Why they made the difference I don't know,but if you want to have this "chime" in your car,just exchange the turnsignal relay for an american one. (which are hard to find on Ebay)
