Factory has two antenna like looking plugs. What is the second one, I'm sure the larger is the antenna, but not sure what the second one is (it's a little smaller in diameter).

Once I figure it out, can I connect it to my new Alpine?

Thanks guys,

~Shawn

Okay, found out it's a second antennae in the rear window, weird.

Do you think I can splice them together to use in my new stereo in conjunction?

Problems with rear-panel antennae getting stuck. How can I help it along?

Use the antennae plug that fits into the back of your Alpine. Just let the smaller plug alone. Splicing them together is unnecessary. Can try to clean the rear power antennae with a dry cloth when in the on position. I would probably get a replacement mast and be done with it.
