Today my 2004.5 S40 completly lost all power steering assistance

It had a "power steering needs servicing " alert, but the alert is gone now..... still no power steering

Please help.... any ideas on cause?

Both fuses are good and the belt is good and not slipping

Could be a failure of the steering pump or missing fluid (low, leacking?). I would take it to the dealer right away...

Had to have the pump replaced under Volvo's TNN64-22-2006-05-19............. which the coverered no cost of..

Where can I get a copy of this bullitin?

I remember there is a link to a web page with all volvo repair or recall bulletin available. You may have to dig a bit but I think it is in this forum.

The TNN's are posted here: https://www.volvotechinfo.com/index.cfm?eve...s=service,parts but you have to buy them.

For recall info go to this site: http://www.volvocars.us/tools/OwnersInfo/ You will have to register (it is free), and then you can look-up recall info for your car.
