Ok this is weird. In the 3 weeks i have owned my new 07 AWD i have heard this 3 times. All 3 times when making a tight right turn at lowish (20 mph speed). A quick, subtle "pop" sound from the rear right side of the car.

The first time i heard it i was making a 90 degree right turn onto a street and then into a parking space. While I was pretty sure it came from the car and not the street, i dismissed it when after I parked a saw a plastic bottle on the street near the corner and assumed I had just went over it.

However, a few days later it happened again making a tight turn onto my street and it happened again yesterday.

Could this have anything to do with the AWD system and the wheels not all being at the same speed due to a tight turn? I feel like i read about this on the 2007 honda crv on some message board when we were researching that car for my wife.

I will call the dealer service dept on Monday but i feel like it's going to be one of those problems that they can't easily replicate.
