After inserting a cd, in the 3 cd cassette, into my CD player, it didn't play and when I tried to eject, after much whirring of gears and movement of the cassette I got an error message 'Error 2 CD 3'. Anyone got any idea what this means..and how easy or espensive it might be to fix.

The CD player is the Volvo CD / Radio / Tape combo unit.

With those radio sometimes the Cassette warps with time and will give you problems.Make sure you have the radio code.Remove radio unplug it and let it set for a couple.Then plug it in and try again sometimes it will leave the C/D in the radio.You might have to remove the top cover and help the C/D into the cassette.I spent 3 hours one time trying to figure that problem out then when I tryed a new cassette the problem was fixed.I am refering to the cassette as the 3 disc cassette that hold the C/D's.Give that a try and let me know.
