:) Just bought a few weeks ago a 2001 S80. Nice car and has 92K, but is like new condition. Barely any scratches and the inside is showroom condition.

One afternoon car alarm was going off. Disarmed vehicle, and then rearmed it. Thought everything seemed ok.

:( Next morning went to start it, and nothing. Alarm was not going off this time. Towed to dealer under warranty. They could not duplicate the issue. They told me they reloaded the software to the system with an upgrade. Seemed to do the trick.

A few days passed and when going out to the car in the morning, nothing. It would not start. Towed it back to the dealer again. They still cant duplicate the problem. What could be causing this? Cars main computer Module?

Just bought this car and love it, but not if its going to be like this... A lemon?

HELP, before I have the dealer take it back (if they do)

:blush: I'd have them keep the car until 'They' find the problem..May take several days...It is had to determine what causes the malfunction until it actually happens., that would be my reasoning is leaving the car with the dealer..I know our Volvo dealer here just automatically offers you a loaner when leaving your car off, even for only a few hours...The only 'Ask' that you replace the fuel used...
Hopefully they will solve your problem...Good Luck
