I am currently running a V70 D5 SE. I have owned volvo estates since 1979 with the later models having the luxury of heated front seats. When compared with friends and relative's cars with heated seats I never feel that mine get as hot, for example I have never found the need to have the switch set to its first setting only, always the higher.
I am conviced that I have read somewhere that the temperature setting of the thermostat may be adjusted (by your dealer of course) but I am at a loss to know how.

Also I am not conviced that the heated lumbar panel always comes on at all.

The question therefore is does anyone out there know how?

Yes the dealer should be able to set the seat temp.
