hey people, just a quick, but late one, wheels day a classic american car show, tho there is loads of others etc... jap imports etc... my volvo is going to be there too.

this good friday (6th) at rushmoor arena. if you google wheels day should be a freewebs page and information is there. easily locateable from j4 of the m3, just head towards and through aldershot (a331) last junction on that, and then head for 'twesel down' and its right niext to that.

About your 'Jap Imports'. In New Zealand I understand a 'Jap Import' to be a second hand vehicle privately imported into New Zealand by individual second hand car dealers.

To me, a Jap Import is not a brand new car-franchisee sourced vehicle.

The only reason I ask is that I find it strange that the UK would import second hand cars when you make brand new cars yourselves.

By the way-please tell Qantas the directions to the wheels day. I'd love to see this show. I'm sure their pilots could land one of their 747's close by!!

sorry about the late reply on it bout directions, but i can post details of the next one when i know of them.

just as a follow up to it, the 33rd year of the show, had about 3000 cars there, the biggest turnout ever, and the weather was lushious, beautiful sunshine all day long.

had the sounds in the 740 going and had reports of it being heard over the other side of the feidl, bout a mile away ish which was cool, lots of comments on it etc... mostly like wtf mate but all good in the end, definitely different and caught people's eye.
