Hello everyone, I'm considering the purchase of a '05 S40 for our driving school. They're safe, and I love the looks.

I have to install a passenger side brake pedal. I mount the passenger side pedal and run a flexible cable over to the divers side brake pedal. It needs to go in a fairly straight line, preferably 2-3 inches above floor level, against the firewall. I would drill a hold thru the console on both sides and run my cable thru.

My question is what's behind there? Dealers get a little fidgety when I start poking and pulling on their cars, BMW's are cram packed, so they won't work. Is there room in a S40 to do what I want?
