Just purchased a used 01 s80 non turbo off lease. Excellent shape, but no service records. What is best oil to use? Do I need to take it to dealer for trans flush, or can a quick lube do the job. Thanks.

10/30 or 10/40 would be the best oil.Yes a quick lube can flush the trans just make sure they use the proper trans oil.

Castrol or mobil.That is what Volvo reccomends.
