its been awhile since ive posted ever since i lost my 240, but down to business i was wondering if anybody here knows anything about the newest model pontiac grand am's 99-05, because i my check engine trac off light and abs light keep comming on at random, and generaly reset when i turn the car. I ran the code and its from a lack of voltage so i replaced the battery. the lights stayed off for about a week. Then all of a suden they started coming on agian took the battery back got a replacement but the lights still come on. Any suggestions to help me fix this i know its not the battery cause i droped it into my friends monte carlo and worked, and i know the alternator is charging the battery.

Sounds like it might be an EBCM but not sure I havent worked Grand Am's with that problem but i have seen it on other cars. Whatever it is I would bet its something electronic. Take it to the dealership and have them put their Tech @ on it and tell you what the problem is and if it is an EBCM you might be able to put it in but you will have to get them to program it.
