Hi, I'm going to replace the wheel bearings in my dad's 98 S70. I looked up the part on partsamerica.com and see it's the entire hub assembly. Is it pretty straight forward? Looks like I remove the caliper and rotor (just slides off, or is there a bolt?) remove the axle nut, and then somehow it unbolts from the spindle? It's hard to see from the picture on the site. I was hoping you guys could help. My dad was going to take it to a shop but I told him if it wouldn't take too much time I could do it for him.

I know this is old, but can anyone chime in on this? I'm looking into doing this project.

Thanks.

it's not that it is difficult, but, what are your mechanical abilities like? you just have to go slow. do you have the haynes manual for your respective models?
