I am going to buy a 1984 DL wagon, and it has the B21F LH Jetronic 4cyl, M46 trans etc. Basically the wagon version of my car. Peculiar thing is, the owner says that it dies when the rpms are underneath 2500. I have a few suspicions, but I am relatively new to the Volvo world, and know that the guru's here are more knowledgeable than a backyard mechanic such as myself. The owner also talked to a couple of mechanics, and they said that it would be an easy fix.

Any ideas would be wonderful (but still cant beat a $350 wagon, I only paid $250 for my car... muwahahaha)

It sounds like the AMM Air Mass Meter If you unplug and it stays running. than its that it should have B23F LH Jetronic 2.0 if its non turbo.

Yea, I just brought it home today, non-turbo, B23F. I never knew those wagons were so damn fast!
