Let me just say.... It's been one of those days.... I locked my keys in my car. Locksmith claims there could be extra fees because of a 15 minute delay upon trying to unlock....? Claims it to be a common feature for later model volvos....? Any advice on how I can resolve this? Thanks..... Not the greatest topic for a forum and mos def not one I enjoy!! Your feedback is most appreciated!!

I'm not sure what model you have but I'm curious: Is there such a thing as a master key for Volvo dealers?

I know how it feels. It has happen to me not with the car but at home. I had to wait for my wife...
That's why I don't have the automatic door lock turned on with my 2005 S40t5.
I get in the car and unless I intentionally lock it or I step out of the car then lock it with the key, the car stays open.

I'm not in a prolific crime zone so I rather take my chances...
