Sorry for late reply, but I,ve just joined the forum two weeks ago, and I hope it is not too late.
I have made this replacement about 10 months ago, so I will share what I can remember.

Well, you will have to rmove the steering wheel.
Then remove the top and bottom covers (unscrew and decouple them)
I think now you will be able to the assmbly (indecators arms assembly which contains the self cacellation). It could be unscrewed or just removed with some force and wisdom, but first you have to unplug the indicators and wiper cable.

Thank you for your reply, believe it or not, I havent replace it so far. I can try now, do you know if i need to deactivate any relay of airbag from the steering wheel?

I'm also interested in how to remove the steering wheel without the risk of damaging / activating the airbag system.

(I also have to cancel the turn signal manually)

i need help as my fuel gauge is not giving me an accurate reading.
my speedo meter is also not working properly.pls what do i do???
