I went to change the clock on my 06 S40 today and it was not so simple. I turned the knob clockwise and nothing happened. I held it for some time and then all of a sudden it started to move forward quickly. I stopped at a point before I the correct time and could not get it to move again. What am I doing wrong? Is there some trick to this?

I had the same problem initially.
Pinch the pin very tightly and slowly and CAREFULLY twist it clockwise - be careful not to bend or break it.

Pay careful attention as you slowly grip it and turn it and you will hear and feel a very slight click - on mine that activated the change function - which seems very simple just fast forwards that is all I could seem to do with it. Went by the time once and had to go around another time, so now I am a full day ahead! :grin:
