Hi All

Just bought a 2006 S40 2.0D SE Sport :)

Got home and opened the boot to find a mysterious cable hanging down from the middle of the roof of the boot (see pic)

Any ideas what this is for? Has someone nicked an important part of my new car before they sold it?

Also, should a warning triangle come as standard in the boot. If so, that's missing too :o

hi, that is for the rti system, it goes into whats called a traffic module which gets all the updates of accidents stoppages etc, so you should allready have the rti wired into your system, to upgrade just buy the components, allthough i find it hard to believe your audio system works as those two smaller holes in that connector contain the fibre optic cables

No triangle in UK cars although there is a sort of recess in the boot lid for one to fit. I've had four of these, one of which was brand new and never had a triangle in any of them, annoying if you travel in europe very much.
