Don't think so.
Stock 8 valve red blocks are non-interference unless you deck the block or shave the head . Your turbo may have dished pistons, making it even less likely to run into a valve.

Good to hear,

I need a timing belt for it, onld one broke. It seems none of the auto parts stores have this model car in their computers. Is this timeing belt the same as other volvo engines or does anyone know the part number of a timing belt that will work? Thanks!

The timing belt should be the same throughout. I'm not positive but I believe any belt for 1981-1993 will work.
