I have only recently taken delivery of a V50 and have noted in the forum some mention of the difficulty folding the front passenger seat flat due to the headrest getting in the way and hitting the dashboard. To fully lower the backrest the seat first needs to be lowered to its lowermost position and moved back as far as possible. The headrest now folds below the glovebox and can even be slid forward underneath it. Unfortunately the raised rear seat cushion still prevents a fully flat load area and folding forward the rear backrest without raising the cushion leaves a big step between the rear backrest and the front seat. The rear cushion of course can be unbolted if a truly long, flat load area is essential!

ps The backrest also needs to be adjusted up to its most vertical or forward position.
