I have had a Volvo mechanic look at this and he mentioned the tailgate is locking ok. There is a problem with the sensor system for the tailgate which the Volvo tech claims will take many hours to diagnose!!!! ($$$)

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have this problem too, the first instance that corrected it temporarily was that, because I have 2 Labradors, and the travel with me the tailgate get opened a lot, and some wires were broken in the head lining, but it has started again and it is the sensor module.............

I am looking for a fix for this
