I bought a set of pan european dvds model number 30775819 from ebay as my 2003 XC90 just had an old single disc covering UK only. I checked that this was the right set of discs for my model. I inserted the first disc and the screen said loading new software. When it had finished the screen retracted and now refuses to come out! I have even tried putting the original disc back in, but still no life. I can hear the machine reading the discs so it is not a power thing. Does anyone have any advice?

Hello.

I experienced the same problem in my S80 RTI system. Volvo adviced me that this problem may happen if you try to change the DVD while you have a route or itinerary active. For me, I got it working by using the old disc, then I deleted the route. After this I got the new disc to work. (But I had to try maybe 15 times!!!
