When I was looking around on Crutchfield, and I entered my car, it says it has 5-1/4" speakers. Fine. It shows front door, rear door, and rear deck. Problem is there aren't speakers in the rear deck. I have them in the dash, front door, and rear door. Also, for each category, it shows different speakers. Won't any 5-1/4" work?

And how do you get to the speakers in the dash? It seems the grille doesn't just pop out like on the doors.

Hey man, I've got an 850 but from what I hear it is basically the same as yours. Anyway, you have got to place a spatula or something similar under an edge and keep the ede moving until it pops out. it is a pain, but it works. As for Crutchfield, it tells you that they are not direct fit. You have to mod the cradle that the speakers will go into. Any 5 1/4 speakers can be made to fit if you fiddle around with them. On mine, I had to fab and mod a new mounting system for them. Then the grille wouln't go on straight. After messing around with it, I got them to sit straight. Just shift the speakers around until they are seated in there straight, not the bolt holes. When it sits straight then you can mess around with mounting them. make sure the depth of the speaker isn't deeper than the hole. That was my mistake. Hope it helps. Also, you can make rear speakers by locating them near the sides of the rear deck. You will have to run new wires under the carpeting. Are you sure your car never had speakers? Maybe the previous owner removed them. Just a thought. Anyway, if no speakers you can always have a system shop install them professionally. They would have to figure everything else out like placement, etc.
