need to know what is the code 341 mean
the problem is the overdrive with the speed of 140Km/h and the rpm passing 4000,the ATindicator starts flashing form S to W.

There is a fault in the transmission.Which car are you talking about I dont think there is a 2001 960 model?

Hi tech,
you are totally right,
the car is 1996, 960,
for your info the transmission box is being replaced with another new, but the problem still was there,
so this mean it is somthing out of the gear box.
imthinking of the sensors or the governor but i want to make sure,
your advice and info is appriciated.

Has the Park neutral position sensor (pnp switch) been replaced yet?It is located on the side of the transmission.When that does bad it sets code and makes the car start from a stop in 3rd gear.That might be the problem.Was there any discription with the code when they pulled it?Was it pulled from the engine or the transmission?

yea sure that might well be it,the gear shift sensor but make sure its adjusted right,there is a tool to do it.also is there a problem with non crank sometimes?
