Lets get a discussion going
I have 2 volvos - 1999 C70 and a 2005 XC 70.
I plan to keep these 2 cars for a very long time. Volvo says it is ok to go 7500 miles between oil changes. MY "old" rule of thumb with none synthetic oil was 2500 mile oil and filter change intervals. I now use full synthetic oil with no additional oil additives (i.e. TuffOil) in my mentioned cars. What oil and filter change intervals do you use with full synthetic oil ?
Thanks,
Paul

Everyones going to have an opinion, mine being I change oil and filter between 4000 and 5000 miles..This give me wiggle room between changes in case I'am away from home.....I do not use synethic due to cost over regular oil and my intervals between oil changes...If I did use synethic oil I would change probably at the 5000 mile mark...Again, this is only my opinion..Others will differ..Good luck
