Hey,

First time posting here. I have a 2005 Volvo V50 and the key is stuck. It is stuck 1 click up. It's an automatic - I made sure it was in park, jiggled the steering wheel, took it for a drive, etc, etc. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

sounds like the key module itself. Had mine replaced last week when an error message came up "Key Error". This module locks all the electrics, windows ignition, transmission (I have auto). Car is immobile. Volvo towed it in and replaced the module. I suspect you have a faulty module not the key. Get it replaced. Mine is a 2005 V50. It appears from the dealer mine was not the first.
