My S70 has been making wierd noises when I've been turning. Like a loud rusty noise, sometimes like a vibrating whack sound. I checked the power steering and thats not even close to needing to be refilled. Any gueses?

Could be a bad steering rack.Does it sound like it is coming from inside or outside?Does it happen a full turns either left or right?

Try lubing the rubber seal at the column base. Worked for me.
