Hello, I am receiving an SRS error after installing after market seat heaters in 2001 V70. I tried removing all the wiring for the seat heaters and it still dose not clear. I have checked all the wiring from the CEM to the seats with no problems. <_<
I know when installing seat heaters I hooked a relay to the passengers side seatbelt trying to close the relay. I think this is where my mistake was. I have hooked only to the power seat wires now.
Anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks Bret.....

If you had turned the key on at all with the seat unplugged at all that is why the srs light is on.You will have to have the codes cleared for the light to stay off. There is air bags in the seats thats why if the seats were unplugged and the key was on there would be a code in the srs.

Yes, I did turn on the key when the seats were unpluged. Ok, now how do I reset the codes?

You will need to find some one with a code scanner that reads srs codes and that can erase the codes.
